Guys, just finished the episode. Due to the VGMJB news of their end(plus the near simultaneous slowdown of the Diad Presents and PA), your announcement was like a punch in the gut. HOWEVER, within minutes, you guys turned that sorrow to joy. Both of your projects sound really good and I’m very excited to continue listening!
Speaking of listening, what a way to end a run! Each track got better and better than the one that preceded it. Although by that logic, my favorite track would have been the last one of the episode, I really loved that Calum Bowen track. I first heard of Mr. Bowen from the Winnose OST(possibly a pun on “winnows?”), which I purchased as part of a massive OST treasure chest from Humble Bundle. The game seems almost nonexistent, but the short soundtrack is quite memorable. You can find most of it on YouTube, bit the whole thing is only available from his Bandcamp Page.
Anyway guys, I’m super excited about what you have on the horizon. I wish you the best on your respective endeavors!
Yeah the VGMJB news hit me really hard too, I’ve been with them since around the beginning and that’s when I checked you guys out, so about two years ago or so. Glad I got to stick around here for awhile and it was a blast! It’s exciting Pixel Tunes isn’t truly ending but rather spawning two new arms and ventures, I’m glad you guys are going to keep going and look forward to the new shows and formats!
I also wanted to personally thank Ryu as well, for taking time out of his busy schedule to drop by and listen to some tunes with us regular non ninja folk. That was very nice of him.
Seriously loved the skits and the potty humor though haha. Great run guys and I learned a ton about games and composers, I’ll have to hit up the early half that I missed someday.
Cheers!
