How about that Prairie? Am I right??
Truly a hidden gem! The whole soundtrack to that game rocks!
For the record, I was Skype TEXTING while driving, fist pumping, and screaming “OH MY FREAKING GOSH”. But how did you guys know I was also changing my own diapers and shaving? But I was eating onion rings. NICE TRY, BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME.
I thought Ed came closest to explaining why NiGHTS is just okay. The game was marketed like it was a platformer, but it’s really just a side-scrolling racing game. More accurately, it’s a side-scrolling obstacle course. There’s really no depth of gameplay. I bought it when it came out, and I really wanted to like it…..I played it until I had achieved all “A” grades on all the levels. But it was just kind of shallow when it comes down to it. I had more fun exploring the levels as the kids and seeing how far I could get before the alarm clock caught me.
All in all, guys, it was a fun episode. Great picks by all!
